In reference to Presidential
Proclamation No. 559 s. 2024, which designates February as National Oral Health
Month, all teachers and personnel are encouraged to actively participate in the
22nd National Oral Health Month with this year’s theme: “Tara
Na! Cleaning at Fluoride, Sa’n ka pa? #PhilHealthOralHealthBenefit”.

The celebration will run from February 2
to February 27, 2026 where teachers and school personnel are expected to
support and promote activities such as oral health education and advocacy initiatives
for learners and the school community.

The following are the activities to be
conducted:
a. National Toothbrushing Day on
February 2, 2026 shall be observed by encouraging learners to perform
simultaneous toothbrushing with family members at home. Learners may document the
activity and submit photos or videos to their teachers to be posted on the
school social media and included in the school’s report observing privacy and proprietary
rights.
b.
Teachers of all subjects are to integrate
concepts on oral hygiene in their lessons to be reflected in their lesson
plans.
c. Healthy Smiles Online Photography Exhibit,
where learners are encouraged to take pictures capturing the joy of local
community members, emphasizing how healthy teeth contribute to confidence and
social success.
4.
The school’s OK sa DepEd Coordinator shall
be the overall in-charge of the activities.
