Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 173
s. 2016, and with reference to Presidential Proclamation No. 683 declaring
February as National Arts Month, this office reiterates its support for the
creative expression of learners and teachers through:
a.
incorporating in the lessons the
concepts and values of this year’s theme “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at
Giting,” underscoring how arts uphold truth, courage, and collaboration and
how it contributes to building livable communities, responsible governance, and
a sustainable society.
b.
include the artistic expressions of
learners, teachers, and community members
in various school events highlighting art as the outcome of people’s
shared experiences and collective aspirations.
c.
conduct school-wide activities that
would encourage learners to appreciate art and develop their artistic talents. These
activities may be incorporated in previously planned school and community events.
2.
MAPEH and CPAR teachers through the Subject
Coordinator shall prepare an activity proposal (download template here https://csfstaffhub.blogspot.com/p/school-forms.html),
update the monitoring portal (https://csfstaffhub.blogspot.com/p/national-arts-month-celebration-2026.html),
and prepare an Accomplishment Report.
